When I was 5 I scratched a little witch into my mother's side table, I knew it would be trouble but I couldn't help myself...and this is the story of an illustrator....
I've been illustrating children’s books for 24 yrs but must admit some of the most interesting & enjoyable work has come since I joined Bright. Being out in the sticks (well Bristol can seem like that through a cider haze) can mean you lose touch with changing trends in publishing, so this where Bright & Vicki's dynamism come in;( a bit like " Bumpkin wears Prada “, but if Ann Hathaway's supposed to be the frumpy girl next door that makes me Deirdre Barlow) I’m incredibly pleased & grateful that I'm inundated with work when I know publishing is getting more& more challenging!
