I was born on 12 April 1981 in Varazdin, Croatia.
After completing secondary school I studied film animation at the Department for Animated Film and New Media of the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. I graduated from the Academy in 2004, my graduation work being an animated film Vivek Goes Afar. I received the AFA annual award as the most successful graduate student in 2003/2004.

During my studies and short after graduation I illustrated nine children's books for Croatian publishers, did some theatre performance posters and my works were published in several children's magazines.

March 2007 I started to work with the Bright Agency team. So far I have illustrated The Glitterwings Academy series for Bloomsbury, more than 100 greeting cards for The Art File and have illustrated and written 3 picture books, with 2 more in the works.

In my work I combine traditional and digital illustration techniques and I love to use fabrics and textures.
