Artists : Andrew Everitt-Stewart

I have been illustrating children’s books and greetings cards for over twenty years, and consider it to be the best job in the world. I trained at the Loughborough College of Art and Design for four years before setting off on a freelance career that has been interesting, unpredictable, enjoyable and most of all, fulfilling, working in advertising, point of sale, on cards, books, and even on the bonnet of a car. I am also an experienced paper engineer. I live in Leicestershire with my wife Caroline, and draw inspiration from life with my three youngest, but keenest critics, Tom, Jack and Hattie.
