Artists : Emily Jepps

Emily has been working as an Illustrator since graduating from the University for the Creative Arts, Maidstone, in 2005. She has produced work for such companies as Whittard of Chelsea, Junior Magazine, Lobster Press, The Art File and Harrods. Growing up in the Kent countryside, she draws inspiration from nature, and animals make a recurring appearance in her work. She tries always to portray them with a child-like air of silliness, which adds to their charm and personality. Emily feels she is as much a Designer as an Illustrator, and considers colour and composition to be vitally important when creating artwork. Her aim is to produce something beautiful, atmospheric and fun.
