Artists : Keith Robinson

I love pictures that tell a story and stories told with pictures.
I studied graphics and illustration at Berkshire and Middlesex and have worked in illustration, animation and design since graduating in 1992.

Having spent too many years staring at a computer screen, these days I like to work with a dip pen, ink, watercolour and goache (although Photoshop still helps).

My work has featured in magazines, children’s books, television programmes and digital media and has been selected by the Association of Illustrators for Images 35 and 36, showcasing the best of British illustration.

In my parallel life I create animation and motion graphics for television and digital media. After graduating I worked on some of the earliest multimedia productions, for clients around the world. In 1995 I joined the BBC and was part of the team that developed the Corporation’s first website. I later founded Codename, an award winning media production company.

I moved to the West Country in 2009 and now live near Lyme Regis, with my wife, two children and an assortment of slightly deranged chickens.
