About this artist
Gabriel Alborozo has been a freelance illustrator for the past twenty five years, and has known the entire time he has one of the best jobs imaginable! He began work as a cartoonist at the tender age of fifteen working for magazines such as Private Eye, Punch, The Spectator and numerous others.
Along the way he managed to fit in several trips to Australia, and worked there in the animation industry producing background paintings for various series and features.
His first love, is and always has been, illustrating for children. To bring as much joy and humour as possible into worlds that readers visit.
Nowadays his work is almost exclusively digital, having realized he was responsible for the loss of a large chunk of the Amazon rainforest. It’s also a lot faster.
Oh...he lives in London with his awesome wife, watches a lot of films (preferably containing robots), walks about quite a bit, and draws a great deal.
And he’s nearly 40.
But doesn’t look it.
