Artists : James Davies

I was brought up in Brecon, Wales in an old house surrounded by mud and strange animals. I graduated in 2009 with a degree in illustration from the University of the West of England and have been plying my trade as a freelancer/craft maker ever since.
I started out drawing tractors when I was 3 years old, and never really stopped. My upbringing among the animals is the biggest inspiration in my work, but most importantly I try to make images that are just fun to look at. I love making pictures you can explore for hours. My main goal is to make people happy, and find enough time in the day to try everything I want to - whilst still getting a good long sleep.
When not drawing, painting, cutting or sewing, you’ll find me lost in the mountains with only an overweight dog for company.
