Artists : Mandi Kim

I was born in October 1985 and grew up in Korea.
Ever since I was little, I loved placing shapes and form on white papers.
I learned that art is not only about simply leaving shapes and forms on a paper when I started at college to major in Western paintings.
I came to realize that the art not only brings delight into the person who beholds the work but also delivers information and knowledge while stimulating the mind and sensibility.
Such realization, the miraculous charm of leaving my marks, made me what I am today, an illustrator.
I usually use pencils and the computer for my artwork.
Recently I have found a new interest in acrylic paints and have been trying new things with the medium.
When I am not working, I try to study and do short writings.
In the future, I would like to become an artist who can express my love in inspiring colors of emotions on the white drawing paper.
