Vita Usova
Victoria Usova was born and raised in Lviv, Ukraine. At the age of 17 moved to USA. She recieved a Bachelor of Fine Arts with concentration in Painting from Towson University. She also studied Art in Florence, Italy and continued her education in New York.
Currently living and working in NYC the owner of the Chest of Fairy Tales Vita has been been working mostly with private clients and her works have found homes with collectors all over the world. Victoria Usova’s watercolor wonders are based on memories of her childhood and dreams, and she’s crystallizing them onto paper for all to enjoy! She had illustrated a book with Mundo Publishing and is ready for more.
Victoria is married, a home schooling mother of 2, and an owner of a huge white cat. Some of her inspirations include Chagall, Miazaki, Russian folk art and tales as well as Celtic music.
Her Art now is mostly watercolors and occasional collages. Victoria also likes to sculpt, and has polymer figures added to the works from time to time.
