Hi, I’m Charlotte. I’m married to my lovely Andy since 2005, and we live in Ramsgate in Kent. We hope one day we will have babies, cats and dogs too.

I discovered when I was little I was quite good at drawing things and thought it would be nice to do that for a job. So I studied really hard at the University of the West of England and now, a few years and greys older, have come away with a first class degree in illustration.
I was highly commended in the Macmillan Prize 2010, and met some great people through that. I joined Bright in August 2010, and am looking forward to the journey we go on together!

I love to screenprint and have a set up at home, and I also love my pastel pencils, which I use for most of my work, mixed in with a bit of digital loving. I always start with a pencil, then colour, and then see what I can do through the magic of my iMac.
